Keeping Kids Warm: Subaru Loves to Help Coat Drive

Castle Subaru of Portage partnered with Operation Warm and the Portage YMCA to provide brand-new winter coats to children in need throughout Northwest Indiana. During this Subaru Loves to Help event, our team worked directly with local families to distribute coats to kids who otherwise may have gone without proper winter clothing. The goal was simple: ensure children stay warm, healthy, and confident during the coldest months of the year while supporting families in our local community. This effort reflects our ongoing commitment to the Subaru Love Promise.

Feeding 1,600 Families: 500 Turkeys Community Event

When: November 2025 (Thanksgiving Season)

Where: Northwest Indiana Community Distribution Event

Castle Subaru proudly supported the 500 Turkeys organization by helping provide Thanksgiving meals to more than 1,600 families in need. Our team volunteered on-site, assisting with meal distribution and helping create a welcoming, organized experience for families. In addition to meals, children received books and small gifts, reinforcing our commitment to giving back during the holidays and helping ensure every family can enjoy a meaningful Thanksgiving.

Subaru Loves Pets Adoption Event Brings Families Together

As part of the national Subaru Loves Pets initiative, Castle Subaru hosted an adoption event in partnership with local shelters including the Humane Society of Hobart and Lakeshore PAWS.
